Adress book - part 1
We recommend, that you administrate big adress databases in your own environment with an appropriate software. Nevertheless, SMSBLASTER.COM web edition provides a simple address book for administration of smaller or private address databases.
Adress groups
It might be usefull to assign the clients in your adress database to one or more address groups, according to the purpose of your sms broadcast:
- Company specific groups
department, management, trainees, etc.
- Associations
Members: active, passive, alumni, veterans, etc.
- Region
London, Berlin, Europe, Asia, etc.
- Client types
Member, VIP, VUP, etc.
- Event managers
Music styles: e.g. rock, metal, RnB, hiphop, etc.
Special events: costume party, 30+, 5past6, etc.
- More
smoking, non smoking, etc.
New group
How to create a new address group with the SMSBLASTER.COM web edition:
- Log-in with your user e-mail and password.
- Click on:
Menu Adress book
Sub-menu Adress group
Sub-menu New group
- Enter the new group name and click the button Update.
- Repeate these steps for each group you like to add.
Add recipients to an address group
Click on:
Menu Adress book
Sub-menu Adress group
- Select the recipients you like to assign to a group.
- Choose a group.
- Click on the button To Group
