Important security information about your ASPSMS account; Client-ID: 0, Newsletter 02.2025

We are writing to inform you of a security incident in wich unauthorized third parties may have gained access to your login credentials. This was achieved by exploiting a previously unknown vulnerability in a system component from an external software provider.

Current Status

Our security experts, in collaboration with the third-party provider, have already closed the vulnerability. The regulatory authorities have been informed about this issue.

Measures

As a precautionary measure, please reset your ASPSMS website login password as soon as possible. In addition, two-factor authentication by e-mail is now activated by default.

Additionally, we ask you to renew your ASPSMS API Password. If your SMS messages are sent via a third-party system, the newly generated API Password must be updated in that system; otherwise, SMS transmission will be interrupted. Please contact your system administrators in this case.

During the ASPSMS admin password reset process, you will be guided step by step through renewing your passwords.
