Expanding customer base: The Favre Auto House, part 1: Spring Exhibition

The Favre Auto House has built up a customer base of approximately 1'100 customers over the years.

Spring Exhibition

As every year, the Favre Auto House will present this spring the new models as well as attractive second hand vehicles.

To attract visitors, there will be a free bratwurst and a competition with attractive prizes worth CHF 10'000.00.

Several major banners «Today show», big balloons and a helium bottle stand ready to additionally attract walk-in customers during the exhibition.


René Favre has ensured that the event is announced in all correspondence and emails for months earlier. Posters are hanging in prominent places in The Favre Auto House and flyers are presented at the bar.

Several weeks in advance René Favre announces the exhibition with the help of SMSBLASTER web edition by sending the following text message to his customers:

Maybe some wise guys will forward the text message to people they know, so that they also benefit from a free bratwurst. For René Favre it's alright. He is interested in getting as many visitors as possible.

To participate in the contest, visitors of The Favre Auto House Spring Exhibition are encouraged to provide date of birth, their name, address and mobile phone number, as well as to agree to be contacted by text message for future promotions.


The Spring Exhibition was a great success for The Favre Auto House. Several new cars and a surprisingly large number of used vehicles were sold. Several test drives were agreed.

In addition, there were many happy contest winners and René Favre was able to expand his address list with over 200 new contacts with mobile phone numbers.
