MS Outlook Mobile Service 2013

Microsoft supports the OMS (Outlook Mobile Service/Office Mobile Service) with the delivery of Office 2013 only in SharePoint. Within Outlook 2013, the OMS will not be continued, which we regret very much.

If you use the Outlook Mobile Service as part of your workflow, we advise you to take an update to Outlook 2013 into careful consideration.

Perspective
We will see if there will be 3rd-Party Add-Ins that allow sending text messages from Outlook 2013 in the future.

Discontinuing support for Office Mobile ServiceIn Office 2010, developers can build web services for Office MobileService (OMS) to integrate the mobile capabilities of Outlook andSharePoint with mobile devices. In Office 2013, only SharePointcontinues to support OMS. Outlook 2013 has also deprecated theMobileItem object and its members. Attempting to create a MobileItem using Application.CreateItem returns E_INVALIDARG.

PHP Class for aspsms.com

Within an ongoing project, Indielab GmbH has developed a PHP interface to send text messages via the ASPSMS SOAP Webservice.

Because of the following reasons Indielab GmbH chose ASPSMS as service provider:
