Renewal SSL/TLS Certificate

On Wednesday, November 4, the *.aspsms.com Wildcard Certificate will be renewed.

Why?

The communication with the ASPSMS system via HTTPS is protected using a SSL/TLS certificate. Each SSL/TLS certificate has a defined expiration date and must be renewed from time to time.

The *.aspsms.com Wildcard Certificate will be renewed at the following date:

• json.aspsms.com
• soap.aspsms.com
• webapi.aspsms.com
• webservice.aspsms.com
• xml1.aspsms.com
• xml2.aspsms.com
• xml3.aspsms.com
• xml4.aspsms.com

Why is this important for you?

Under certain circumstances, a certificate renewal leads to technical problems on your side, i.e. sending SMS via the affected interfaces may no longer work.

If you have installed our existing server certificate locally in your application, you have to perform this step again after the conversion for the new certificate.

It is also possible that the existing certificate may not be automatically updated by a caching mechanism on your side. In this case, take the necessary measures.

If your certificate store does not have all certificates required for the certificate chain, it may be necessary to import individual CA certificates.

If you can't act at the time of the changeover or fear other problems, you have the possibility to access the ASPSMS system temporarily unencrypted via HTTP.
